On the last day of class I like to end with a celebration of learning. I heard a quote one time that said STUDENTS MAY NOT REMEMBER WHAT YOU TAUGHT THEM BUT THEY WILL REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. I would like for us all to leave our journey with positive feelings about History and Philosophy of Education.
What are some ideas you have that would make the last day of class memorable?
You're the BEST!

I wonder if we could do the Friendship Salad activity...even though it might not quite fit in with what we are doing, it's a really memorable activity for me, and it's also really yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteAnother cute idea I found: Make an ABC book......about history and philosophy! :)
Let's have food again. I might be able to pick up something from the store today.
Great ideas, Becky. I am also for bringing food in, so I can bring OJ to drink.
ReplyDeleteI think we should hire a clown...
ReplyDeletei said it.
How much do you charge Wade?
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of friendship salad. Thanks for thinking of it Becky.
I feel that I will always remember this class. It was something i've never done before and enjoyed every class. I think just doing a fun activity to make the time enjoyable will help remember this class.
ReplyDeleteA clown would be nice...
Let's have a sacratic seminar and share what we feel are the most important things we have learned in class this semester! I love doing this becuas it seems like everyone says something different, and you sit back and go "oh ya, I remember that now!"....Food is always a plus, too....
ReplyDeleteI think it would be nice for everyone to reflect on what we have learned in our short time together and to just hang out and have a good time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas everyone. Love the idea of reflecting on what we have learned and Ryanne has the perfect instructional method of a Socratic Seminar.
